Rounds Freezer
Help please. The white plastic round the edge of the lid of my chest freezer is discolouring ……?
…. to a nasty yellow colour. Is there any way I can bring this back to it’s original white? Product?
It sits in the garage (dark) now, although it was in the utility area we had in our previous house (not in direct sunlight however).
It’s not the seal, it’s the edging round the lid, on the top …. and to the bright spark who said clean it, I’M TRYING TOO!!!
I suspect that you will be unable to undo the yellowing. It’s a chemical process where the plastic has turned a different color because of reactions within the plastic.
I have a similar problem with my blender and food processor and have tried all sorts of things. Some people suggest soda bicarb and oxy-Clean. Maybe you can try those and see how it goes.
