What do the stay-at-home moms you know do?
My friend just stashes her kid in her playpen all day. She’ll take him out for meals and changing. She spends most of the day chatting online or watching TV. She might run the vacuum for ten minutes or do a load of laundry. I hope most of them aren’t like this.
Let me tell you… it restricts your world to just being
” Mommy”… the park, paint by numbers, Baby Frigging Einstein, play dates, etc. Forget any other aspect of your being.
I couldn’t wait to get back to work and adult company and adult conversations and adult challenges. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to whip up some oatmeal or use a burp pad.
Hubby is so much happier. Sex is sooo much better. Kids are doing great with new friends in day care school…. and tjey are much loved and well adjusted. We are one very happy family now that Mommy is happy!
Every notice how many stay at home moms are over weight and flabby. It’s that oatmeal … what the children don’t eat, they will!
